I bought some new tea towels this week. This black striped one really caught my eye. The big red mangoes along with a bright yellow background keep the cloth from being the focus.

- In the beginning of this blog I set a goal of one small painting a day for one year. While I didn't reach my goal, I did complete 125 small daily paintings. I still enjoy the tiny format and do them when I can. This is my 30th year as a professional painter and yet with this new goal I feel like it's a new beginning. I am very excited.
