I completed this small oil a while ago but it is one of my favorites and so I wanted to share it with you. I try to set up still lifes with very strong shadow patterns and this one on a white table cloth has that going for it.

I really like this painting also, thanks for sharing it with us. I love the analagous color palette and fun shadow shapes. The lemons look so juicy and fresh!

Thanks, Silviane. This table top view is my favorite ways to design a painting, a very strong view.
Thanks, Elizabeth. I had to "invent" my own shadow color, violet blue to contrast with the oranges and yellows. This painting was done from a photo I took and shadows in a photo never give you much "information".
