These were the most colorful little apricots I have ever
seen, grown locally, too. I love the contrast of the stripes with the rounded fruit. Blue and orange, warm and cool!

- In the beginning of this blog I set a goal of one small painting a day for one year. While I didn't reach my goal, I did complete 125 small daily paintings. I still enjoy the tiny format and do them when I can. This is my 30th year as a professional painter and yet with this new goal I feel like it's a new beginning. I am very excited.
