" Pomegranates "
Oil on gesso board
8" x 10"
I just learned this nifty way to peel a pomegranate: Fill a large bowl with water. Cut top off pomegranate and hold under water to peel. Seeds will sink, pulp/skin floats. So easy, fast and no red juice everywhere!

Thanks, Dean. I keep thinking I'll try using just three primary oil colors but chicken out. I do use a very limited palette though. I like Frank Gardner's experiment of closing your eyes and chosing 4-5 colors and making a painting with those..now that's a challenge I want to try, too.
